Fasting and Praying.....

.....praying and fasting. Well, at least the praying part. And maybe the fasting part if abstaining from cooked carrots and bill paying counts. Yes, folks, top priority on today's agenda is praying for the future husbands of my drama queens spirited daughters. Please people, for the love of God and all that is holy, join me in my plea for four boys who will grow up to be strong, patient, forgiving, and even hearing impaired (for their sake) men. And pray that maybe one of those guys loves to fish (you know, for Steve). And maybe pray that one of those guys will have a sister who will work at a Cath Kidston store somewhere....and that she will let me use her hefty employee discount. And pray that maybe one of those guys won't mind that his future wife never remembers to wipe. Pray. Pray!  Pray without ceasing.

And maybe, while you're already down on your knees or laying prostrate (cuz those are really your only two options for this kind of prayer), could you maybe pray for the spirited girls' mother?

P.S. Ooooh, I have to add, as much as I like me some sugar, please folks, no Razzle Dazzle!

Add three more men to that list who will love my girls, pray that love will blind them for a life time, and provide them with vast amounts of tolerance for mood swings and whining. Pray they will forgive their mother-in-law when she disappears to a remote location for the remainder of her life, only to return to spoil her grandchildren, and leave again. AMEN

Lying prostrate at this point isn't possible, but I will continue to pray for their future husbands (maybe they'll marry my boys?! I know Gwen's already taken, but what do you think of Ella and Elijah?

Well, you know I'm raising Miles and Asher to be all of those things, so you've got two covered. Since we're absolutely perfect over here!
OR, maybe in reality, they'll put up with your girls, if your girls would put up with never being potty trained, high pitched squeeling and lots and lots of mud. Oh! And talking back. Maybe the talking back would be good?...

Wow- I'm amazed that you're even thinking that far ahead. During the day I think, "Ok, just get through the next hour.....argh, just get through the next 7 minutes minutes....AAAAAAAAAAAH, JUST GET THROUGH THE NEXT 30 SECONDS!!!!" I haven't even thought about what it will take for future spouses to take these kids off my hands. That's scary. Plus I may not make it that long...
