Uncertainty and Underwear Hats

So.....yup. It's been awhile.
Here is a quick synopsis of the past month and a half....in as few words as possible.

Steve and I celebrated 11 years of wedded bliss
with our first real honeymoon.
Without kids. Obviously.
Good times.

The day after we got home Steve was laid off.
Unexpected to say the least.

A few days later the girls and I did everything we could
to make Steve's birthday a happy one.

A sign, lots of homemade cards, fettuccine rose and bruschetta.

Gwen dressed for the occasion.

The past few weeks have been filled with uncertainty.
But even in the midst of the uncertainty,
there is peace.
And laughter.

I'm sorry to hear about Steve. But I know that you guys are resourceful and will make the best of it. I will be praying that he finds something soon.
Glad you had a fun Honeymoon! And your girls are as cute as ever!

Praying for a job or jobs soon! Tough times make tough people, but with softer hearts when they rely on God. (Thanks for the card remembering Felicity).

Let me know if there's anything I can do while you're in this period of waiting.

We're praying for Steve too. Today I was talking about how some people fish for a living, and Chloe said, "That's what Uncle Steve should do!" Great honeymoon pics, by the way!
